Privacy policy

Your private wellbeing information deserves restraint.

This draft explains the information Deacon Wellness expects to use, why it is needed and the controls planned for the initial United States release.

Pre-launch draftThis document establishes the current U.S.-only product direction. It must receive final legal review and an effective date before Deacon Wellness accepts public subscriptions.

Information you provide

This may include your name, email address, password credentials, wellbeing conversations, check-ins, goals, preferences, weekly plan, communication-practice inputs and requests you send to support.

Information generated through use

Deacon Wellness may create text conversation transcripts, plan suggestions, account-security records, feature-usage records and limited technical logs needed to operate, secure and improve the service. Deacon Wellness does not save audio recordings from guided voice conversations.

How information is used

Information is used to provide account access, maintain continuity between conversations, personalize optional wellbeing practices, create your weekly structure, operate safety rules, prevent abuse, measure service usage and troubleshoot the product.

Optional product-improvement research

Research sharing is off by default. If you opt in through Settings, limited excerpts from conversations saved after that choice, including saved voice transcripts, may be sent to OpenAI to identify general communication improvements. We omit account identifiers and try to remove names and contact details, but cannot guarantee complete anonymization. The app owner reviews general suggestions before they are used in later conversations; this feature does not retrain the underlying model. Research is funded by the company and does not reduce your customer allowance.

You can turn sharing off in Settings without affecting your service. Your conversations will be excluded from new research samples. A review already underway may finish, and previously completed research and general improvements may remain.

Service providers

Deacon Wellness expects to use carefully selected providers for hosting, databases, AI processing, voice, email and payments. Each provider should receive only the information needed for its function. Private wellbeing information must not be provided to advertising networks or influencer-attribution platforms.

No sale or targeted advertising

The planned launch model does not sell private wellbeing information or use conversations, check-ins, goals or inferred wellbeing information for targeted advertising.

Retention and deletion

Deacon Wellness will establish documented retention periods before launch and provide a way to request access, correction, export or deletion. Information should be retained only as long as needed for the service, security, legal obligations and user-selected continuity.

Security

Planned safeguards include encryption, restricted administrative access, strong authentication, audit logging, backups, incident response and vendor controls. No system can guarantee absolute security, and these controls require verification before public launch.

Children

Deacon Wellness’s initial release is not available to anyone under 18, and Deacon Wellness does not knowingly create accounts for children.

Contact and effective date

A monitored privacy contact, request procedure, company identity, governing jurisdiction and effective date will be published before public subscriptions begin.
